Services

At Solidrock Academy, we are dedicated to helping young people achieve various outcomes, including building confidence and high self-esteem, fostering high aspirations, improving school attendance and behavior, enhancing academic engagement, and facilitating post-16 roles in further education, higher education, or apprenticeships.

School programmes

We currently provide various services to St Cyprian's Greek Orthodox Primary Academy, Raglan Primary School, and Oasis Academy Ryelands. These include after-school club sessions, lunchtime supervisors, PE cover, and teaching assistants.

SPG Youth Club

Our regular youth club sessions take place at SPG Centre in Addiscombe every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. These sessions offer young people the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities at very low cost.

Mentoring Programme

Our bespoke mentoring programs are specifically designed for young people from disadvantaged BAME backgrounds. These programs can be delivered on a 1-1 or group basis, face to face, or via telephone or online platforms. Our flexible structure combines theory with practical application, accommodating young people who may be considered 'hard to reach', NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), in care, or facing SEMH challenges.

  • Crime Awareness Mentoring

  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) Support

  • Social & Cultural Enrichment Activities

  • Counselling

  • Sports coaching

  • Life coaching

 Holiday Camps

Through our Holiday Activities program, we provide activities and lunch for eligible children across Croydon, including those receiving free school meals and those identified as vulnerable by the Department for Education (DfE). These activity clubs are offered during Christmas, Easter, and summer holidays, providing energetic physical activities, exciting new experiences, and delicious meals.
